Abstract

A retaining piece (3) for food (2) suspended on a skewer (1) during transport from the kitchen to the customer's table to prevent it from slipping, characterized in that it consists of a deformable piece removably attached to the end of the skewer. The retaining piece (3) is elastically deformable and made of plastic, metal, or a natural material. [0001] The invention relates to the field of food preparation in catering, in particular dishes comprising suspended skewers.

[0002] Currently, a suspended skewer does not guarantee that the food will not slip off the suspension between leaving the kitchen and arriving at the customer's table. Indeed, the movements of the server can cause the pieces of skewer to slip and fall to the floor, which detracts from the presentation of the food and results in food waste, not to mention the time lost in rearranging the presentation.
