[0018] Fig. 4 is a bottom view of a vehicle equipped with an arrangement according to an embodiment of the invention.
[0019] Fig. 5 is a perspective view of an arrangement according to one embodiment of the invention.
[0020] An embodiment of a motor vehicle 100 according to the invention is described below with reference to Figures 1 to 5. The motor vehicle 100 is a motor vehicle of any type, in particular a passenger vehicle or a utility vehicle.
[0021] The motor vehicle 100 includes an electric powertrain. In one embodiment, the motor vehicle 100 is an all-electric vehicle.
[0022] For the purposes of this description, and with reference to [Fig. 1], a direct orthonormal coordinate system R0, with axes X, Y, Z, commonly used in automotive design, is used, in which - the X-axis designates the front-to-rear longitudinal direction of the vehicle, oriented towards the rear, - the Y axis designates the transverse direction and is oriented towards the right of the vehicle, and - the Z axis designates the vertical direction, and is oriented upwards.
[0023] The motor vehicle 100 comprises an arrangement 10 according to the invention.
[0024] The arrangement 10 includes a structure 14 delimiting a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle 100.
[0025] Arrangement 10 further comprises - a powertrain 20 located outside the structure 14, and - a traction battery 30 arranged inside the structure 14, notably under a driver's seat.
[0026] Arrangement 10 further includes - a cradle 13 and a fixing piece 11 arranged outside the structure 14, the fixing piece 11 being fixed to the cradle 13 so as to be placed between the cradle 13 and the structure 14, - a first wiring harness 12, a first end 121 of the first wiring harness 12 being connected to the powertrain 20, - a second wiring 15, a first end 151 of the second wiring 15 being connected to the traction battery 30.
[0027] Furthermore, - structure 14 includes an opening 141 for the passage of a second end 152 of the second cable 15, and - the fixing piece 11 includes a given hole 1124 suitable for collaborating with a male fixing means 123, 124, 125, 126 disposed on the first wiring 12 near a second end 122 of the first wiring 12 for its fixing.
[0028] Furthermore, a given surface 1129 of the fastening piece 11 is substantially contained in a plane perpendicular to the transverse axis Y of the motor vehicle, the given surface 1129 being intended to allow a second end 122 of the first wiring 12 to be fixed on the given surface 1129 by a support exerted on the second end 122 of the first wiring 12 substantially along the transverse axis Y.
[0029] In the remainder of this document, the given surface 1129 is also referred to as "fin 1129". Fin 1129 is described in more detail later in this document.
[0030] In the remainder of this document, the term "hole" means a fixing hole, that is to say an opening or cavity created in a material to allow the passage of a fixing element into the material.
[0031] In one embodiment, the fixing piece 11 is arranged so that a smallest distance dl measured between the opening 141 of the structure 14 and the given hole 1124 is less than a maximum threshold, the maximum threshold being equal to 10 millimeters, or even equal to 8 millimeters, or even equal to 5 millimeters.
[0032] Thus, the arrangement 10 according to the invention comprises a fastening piece 11 illustrated by figures 2 and 3 and a first wiring harness 12, a first end 121 of which is intended to be connected to a powertrain 20 of the motor vehicle 100. The fastening piece 11 has the function of defining a path of the first wiring harness 12, so as to place the second end 122 of the first wiring harness 12 near the opening 141 of the structure 14, and thus allow a connection of the first wiring harness 12 to the second wiring harness 15.
[0033] To this end, the fastening piece 11 comprises a first strip of material 111 and a second strip of material 112 substantially in the form of a first hoop 1111 and a second hoop 1121 extending respectively in a first and a second distinct direction. The first strip 111 provides a support to which the second strip 112 is fixed. For this purpose, a portion 1123, in particular substantially medial, of the second hoop 1121 is fixed to a portion 1115 of the first hoop 1111. The second strip of material 112 is thus fixed in support of the first strip 111. The fin 1129 is disposed on the second hoop 1121 and substantially perpendicular to the second strip of material 112.
[0034] The first and second strips of material 111, 112 include holes. In the described embodiment, the first strip of material 111 includes two holes 1116, 1117 for receiving screws 1118, 1119 for attaching the part fixing 11 to a support. In the described embodiment, the support on which the fixing piece 11 is fixed is the cradle 13 of the arrangement 10.
[0035] Furthermore, the second strip of material 112 includes at least one hole 1124, 1125, 1126, 1127 for the attachment of the first cable 12. Advantageously, the attachment piece 11 includes, in addition to the given hole 1124, a plurality of holes 1125, 1126, 1127 distributed on the second hoop 1121. In the embodiment illustrated by Figures 2 and 3, each hole 1124, 1125, 1126, 1127 of the first strip 111 is oblong.
[0036] The given hole 1124 and the plurality of holes 1125, 1126, 1127 collaborate with a plurality of male fixing means 123, 124, 125, 126 arranged on the first wiring 12 so as to determine a path of the first wiring 12.
[0037] Advantageously, the first cable 12 includes at least one male fastening means 123, 124, 125, 126 suitable for collaborating with the given hole 1124 and / or the plurality of holes 1125, 1126, 1127 of the second strip of material 112. The at least one male fastening means 123, 124, 125, 126 can be implemented by several clips distributed on the first cable 12, in particular uniformly distributed on the first cable 12.
[0038] Advantageously, one end 1128 of the second strip of material 112 includes the fin 1129, and the fixing piece 11 is mounted on the cradle 13 so that the fin 1129 is in a plane substantially perpendicular to the transverse axis Y of the motor vehicle 100, and the given hole 1124 of the second strip being disposed on the fin 1129.
[0039] Advantageously, the fixing piece 11 is made of a material whose rigidity is greater than that of the first wiring 12. In addition, the given hole 1124 and the plurality of holes 1125, 1126, 1127 of the second strip of material 112 are distributed on the second hoop 1121 and collaborate with a plurality of male fixing means 123, 124, 125, 126 arranged on the first wiring 12 so as to determine a path of the first wiring 12.
[0040] In an embodiment illustrated by [Fig.3], the arrangement 10 further includes a sealing device 16 closing the opening 141 of the structure 14 while allowing the second cable 15 to pass through the opening.
[0041] In one embodiment, the sealing device 16 is substantially funnel-shaped, with a wide end 161 of the funnel 16 intended to be placed on the circumference of the opening 141, so as to close it, and a narrow end 162 of the funnel 16 intended to fit tightly around the second cable 15.
[0042] Thus, the sealing device 16 is intended to be initially arranged around the second cable 15, in particular near the second end 152 of the second wiring 15, then inserted into the opening 141 from inside the structure 14 so as to close the opening 141.
[0043] The invention further relates to a method of assembling a motor vehicle 100 according to the invention.
[0044] The method includes a first step El of mounting, on a first mounting support, the cradle 13 of the arrangement 10 of the motor vehicle and the powertrain 20 of the motor vehicle.
[0045] The first mounting support may contain a first part on which the cradle 13 is mounted, and a second part on which the powertrain 20 is mounted. In one embodiment, the second part may be a mounting plate, and the first part may be subsequently attached to the plate before the plate is positioned on the structure 14 delimiting the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle 100.
[0046] Following the first step E1, a second step E2 is carried out, which involves attaching the fastener 11 to the cradle 13. In the embodiment illustrated in [Fig. 3], the attachment is achieved by screwing two screws 1118, 1119 into two holes 1116, 1117 located at the ends of the first strip of material 111 of the fastener 11. In particular, the diameter of the two screws 1118, 1119 can be 6 millimeters. In one embodiment, the second step E2 can be performed by an operator; alternatively, the second step E2 can be automated.
[0047] We then proceed to a third step E3 of initial fixing of the first cable 12 of the arrangement 10 on the fixing piece 11. In this step, an operator inserts at least one male fixing means 123, 124, 125, 126 arranged on the first cable 12 into a hole 1124, 1125, 1126, 1127 of the second hoop 1121 of the fixing piece 11.
[0048] In an embodiment of step E3, the operator inserts each at least one male fastening means 123, 124, 125, 126 into a hole 1124, 1125, 1126, 1127 of the second hoop 1121 comprising the given hole 1124 disposed on the fin 1129.
[0049] Advantageously, the fin 1129 located at the end 1128 of the second hoop 1121 is arranged to face the operator. Thus, a given hole 1124 is provided on the fin 1129 and faces the operator. Inserting a male fastening means 123, 124, 125, 126 into the given hole 1124 is facilitated, since it simply requires the operator to apply a push substantially along the transverse axis Y of the motor vehicle 100 on the second end 122 of the first cable 12, at the level of the male fastening means 123, 124, 125, 126. Thus, the second end 122 of the first cable 12 is fixed on the fin 1129 or near the fin 1129.
[0050] In an alternative embodiment of step E3, the given hole 1124 located on the fin 1129 is not used during step E3. Indeed, the attachment of the second end 122 of the first wiring 12 can advantageously be deferred to a later stage of assembly, so as to facilitate the connection of the first and second wirings 12, 15.
[0051] The operator then proceeds to a fourth step E4 of connecting the first end 121 of the first wiring 12 to the powertrain 20 of the motor vehicle.
[0052] In one embodiment, following step E4, the process includes a process break between the fourth step E4 and the fifth step E5. Indeed, in the fifth step E5, an operator acts from inside the structure 14 of the motor vehicle 100, the structure 14 being located on another assembly station of the vehicle.
[0053] In the fifth step E5, an operator inserts the second end 152 of the second cable 15 into the opening 141 of the structure 14.
[0054] The second end 152 of the second cable 15 is equipped with a sealing device 16. The operator closes the opening 141 by inserting the wide end 161 of the sealing device 16 into the circumference of the opening 141.
[0055] Then the sixth step E6 includes docking the first mounting support under the structure 14 of the arrangement 10 of the motor vehicle,
[0056] Then the seventh step E7 includes a connection of the second end 122 of the first wiring 12 of the arrangement 10 with the second end 152 of the second wiring 15 of the arrangement 10 of the vehicle.
[0057] In one embodiment, the assembly method according to the invention may include a step E8 of fixing the second end 122 of the first wiring 12 on the given surface 1129, which is carried out after the connection step E7.
[0058] Thus, thanks to the arrangement 10 according to the invention, a traction battery 30 equipping an electric or hybrid motor vehicle can be disposed in the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle, for example under a driver's seat by being connected to the motor vehicle's powertrain, which is located outside the passenger compartment.
[0059] The arrangement makes it possible to comply with the assembly constraints of the motor vehicle, in particular with regard to a distance separating - on the one hand an opening made in the structure delimiting the passenger compartment and allowing the battery wiring to pass through the structure delimiting the passenger compartment, and - on the other hand a hole located on the fixing piece and used to fix a wiring connected to the powertrain.
[0060] In addition, the assembly, by an operator, of the wiring connected to the powertrain on the mounting piece is facilitated by the presence of a fin on one end of the mounting piece, in particular the fin allowing the operator to fix the wiring by exerting a simple push on the wiring along the transverse axis Y.
[0061] Furthermore, the arrangement according to the invention includes a sealing device equipping the opening made in the structure of the passenger compartment, the sealing device making it possible to comply with insulation requirements of the passenger compartment, in particular insulation preventing water or dust from entering the passenger compartment through the opening made in the structure of the passenger compartment.
[0062] In addition, the arrangement according to the invention - and more particularly the fixing piece - makes it possible to comply with regulatory distances between cables linking the battery to the powertrain and vehicle components likely to damage these cables.
