Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Electrical system, method for assembling such an electrical system on a support, and electrical installation equipped with such a system. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The invention relates to an electrical system, in particular of the electrical panel type.
[0002] It also relates to an electrical installation comprising a specific support, in particular a cable tray or a wall, and such an electrical system.
[0003] It also relates to a method of assembling such an electrical system on a determined support. STATE OF THE ART
[0004] Electrical installations are known to have cable trays on which electrical systems, for example electrical switchboards, are mechanically attached.
[0005] In particular, such an electrical panel may include a box having a chassis configured to be fixed securely to a cable tray mounting profile.
[0006] The mechanical fastening of the chassis of the box onto the mounting profile of the cable tray can for example be achieved by means of fixing screws which are screwed through the chassis and which engage in the mounting profile, often by passing through the material of this profile.
[0007] Alternatively, such an electrical panel can be mechanically fixed directly to a wall or any other suitable support, and the fixing screws are screwed into it, for example, using a plug.
[0008] Such a fastening, with screw or screw nut, in a similar application, is known from document FR 2 664 440.
[0009] Alternatively, documents EP 1 207 600 and EP 4 102 659 also disclose quarter-turn mechanisms for mounting housings on rails or vice versa. Description of the invention

[0049] Figures 1 to 17 illustrate an electrical installation 1 comprising an electrical system 2, of the type electrical panel, mechanically secured, using fastening devices 3, to a determined support formed here by a cable tray 5 provided with mounting profiles 6.
[0050] It should be noted that the chute 5 is mechanically secured to any wall, formed here for example by a wall.
[0051] In the illustrated example, the chute 5 forming the determined support has a U-shaped cross-section.
[0052] The chute 5 comprises a bottom wall 7, a first side wall 8 extending from the bottom wall 7, and a second side wall 9 extending from the bottom wall 7 and opposite the first side wall 8.
[0053] The first side wall 8 and the second side wall 9 are each provided with a mounting profile 6 having a receiving groove 10 delimited by walls.
[0054] In the illustrated example, the mounting profiles 6 are formed in one piece with the first side wall 8, the second side wall 9 and also with the bottom wall 7.
[0055] The electrical system 2 is provided with a box 14, comprising a chassis 15 configured to be mechanically secured to the cable tray 5.
[0056] The chassis 15 here comprises a first lateral arm 16, a second lateral arm 17 substantially parallel to the first lateral arm 16, and a transverse rail 18 joining the first lateral arm 16 and the second lateral arm 17.
[0057] The first lateral arm 16 and the second lateral arm 17 are configured to allow the mechanical fastening of the chassis 15 onto the chute 5, while the transverse rail 18 is configured to receive electrical equipment (not shown), for example of the terminal block type, circuit breaker, differential switch, etc.
[0058] In the illustrated example, the transverse rail 18 joins the first lateral arm 16 and the second lateral arm 17 roughly at mid-height, but of course, the chassis 15 may have different dimensions and be provided in particular with more transverse rails.
[0059] Furthermore, in the illustrated example, the transverse rail 18 is mechanically secured to the first lateral arm 16 and to the second lateral arm 17 for example by snap-fitting.
[0060] In the illustrated example, the electrical system 2 is provided with four fixing devices 3 which are configured to mechanically secure the frame 15 to the mounting profiles 6 of the cable tray 5, and the frame 15 is therefore provided with four housings 20 each having a through window 21 configured to accommodate a respective fixing device 3, with the first lateral arm 16 and the second lateral arm 17 each being provided with two of the housings 20 provided on either side of the transverse rail 18.
[0061] In other words, the first lateral arm 16 of the chassis 15 receives two fixing devices 3 in its two housings 20, while the second lateral arm 17 of the chassis 15 receives two other fixing devices 3 in its two respective housings 20.
[0062] Thus and as can be seen in figures 1 and 2, the first lateral arm 16 is mounted on the mounting profile 6 of the first lateral wall 8 and the second lateral arm 17 is mounted on the mounting profile 6 of the second lateral wall 9, with also the two fixing devices 3 mounted on the first lateral arm 16 which are also opposite the mounting profile 6 of the first lateral wall 8, and the two fixing devices 3 mounted on the second lateral arm 17 which are also opposite the mounting profile 6 of the second lateral wall 9.
[0063] It will be noted that in [Fig.1], all the fastening devices 3 are in a mounted and locked configuration; whereas in [Fig.2], the two fastening devices 3 on the left are in the mounted and locked configuration, the fastening device 3 on the top right is in a mounted and unlocked configuration, and the fastening device on the bottom right is in a non-mounted and unlocked configuration, as described below in more detail with reference in particular to Figures 13 to 17.
[0064] We will now describe in more detail one of the fastening devices 3 of the electrical system 2 with reference to figures 3 to 12, taking into account that all the fastening devices 3 are identical here.
[0065] The fastening device 3 comprises a support member 30, a first mounting member 50 and a second locking member 70.
[0066] The support member 30 here comprises a body 31 having a shape at least partially complementary to that of the housings 20 of the chassis 15.
[0067] The body 31 comprises an upper portion 32, forming a plate, and a lower portion 33, forming an insert, extending from the upper portion 32.
[0068] The body 31 of the support organ 30 has a first through orifice 34 and a second through orifice 35, which open on either side of the upper portion 32 and the lower portion 33.
[0069] The support member 30 has a first positioning notch 36 projecting into the first through orifice 34, and a second positioning notch 37 projecting into the second through orifice 35.
[0070] The first positioning notch 36 is provided in projection from a first deformable lateral wall 38 of the lower portion 33 of the body 31, while the second positioning notch 37 is provided in projection from a second deformable lateral wall 39 of the lower portion 33 of the body 31.
[0071] The support member 30 is further provided with a stop wall 40 on the upper portion of the body 31.
[0072] The support member 30 further has a third through orifice 41 which opens on either side of the upper portion 32.
[0073] The third through orifice 41 here has an oblong shape.
[0074] In particular, the third through orifice 41 is here formed between the first through orifice 34 and the second through orifice 35.
[0075] The third through orifice 41 can be configured to receive an added fastening element (not shown), for example a screw, and actuated by an actuating tool (not shown), for example a screwdriver.
[0076] It will be noted that the lower portion 33 of the body 31 here has ratcheting edges 42 provided at a free end opposite to the upper portion 32. The ratcheting edges 42 allow the mechanical fastening of the support member 30 to the chassis 5.
[0077] The first mounting member 50 comprises a first end portion 51, a first head 52 opposite the first end portion 51 and a first intermediate portion 53 extending between the first head 52 and the first end portion 51.
[0078] The first mounting element 50 is here made in one piece.
[0079] The first end portion 51 is provided with a first protuberance 54 having an inclined face 55 extending and widening from a first free end 56 of the first end portion 51 and a first shoulder 57 joining the inclined face 55 at a distance from the first free end 56.
[0080] In particular, the first protrusion 54 and the first shoulder 57 are provided in the first end portion 51 on a first side 58 of the first mounting member 50.
[0081] The first intermediate portion 53 is provided with two first positioning cavities 59.
[0082] In particular, one of the first positioning cavities 59 is provided in the first intermediate portion 53 near the first head 52, while the other of the first positioning cavities 59 is provided in the first intermediate portion 53 near the first end portion 51.
[0083] In addition, the first two positioning cavities 59 are provided in the first intermediate portion 53 on a second side 60 of the first mounting member 50 opposite the first side 58.
[0084] The first head 52 of the first mounting member 50 is provided with a first bearing face 61, here in the form of a fillet.
[0085] The first mounting member 50 is configured to be mounted movable in translation relative to the support member 30 and here through the first through orifice 34 of the support member 30, between a first mounting position and a second mounting position.
[0086] In the illustrated example, the first two positioning cavities 59 of the first intermediate portion 53 are configured to receive the first positioning notch 36, respectively in the first mounting position and in the second mounting position of the first mounting member 50, so as to maintain the first mounting member 50 in the respective position.
[0087] The first head 52 is configured to be at a distance from the stop wall 40 in the first mounting position, and to be against the stop wall 40 in the second mounting position.
[0088] The second locking member 70 comprises a second end portion 71, a second head 72 opposite the second end portion 71 and a second intermediate portion 73 extending between the second head 72 and the second end portion 71.
[0089] The second locking member 70 is here made in one piece.
[0090] The second end portion 71 is provided with a point 74 at a second free end 75 of the second end portion 71. The second end portion 71 is also provided here with two second shoulders 76 at a distance from the second free end 75.
[0091] In particular, one of the two second shoulders 76 is provided in the second end portion 71 on a third side 77 of the second locking member 70, and the other of the two second shoulders 76 is provided in the second end portion 71 on a fourth side 78 of the second locking member 70 opposite the third side 77.
[0092] The second intermediate portion 73 is provided with two second positioning cavities 79.
[0093] In particular, one of the second positioning cavities 79 is provided in the second intermediate portion 73 near the second head 72, while the other of the second positioning cavities 79 is provided in the second intermediate portion 73 near the second end portion 71.
[0094] In addition, the two second positioning cavities 79 are provided in the second intermediate portion 73 on the fourth side 78 of the second locking member 70.
[0095] The second head 72 of the second locking member 70 is provided with a second bearing face 80, here also in the form of a fillet.
[0096] The second locking member 70 is configured to be mounted movable in translation relative to the support member 30 and here through the second through orifice 35, between a first locking position and a second locking position.
[0097] The two second positioning cavities 79 of the second intermediate portion 73 are configured to receive the second positioning notch 37, respectively in the first locking position and in the second locking position of the second locking member 70, so as to maintain the second locking member 70 in the respective position.
[0098] The second head 72 of the second locking member 70 is configured to be at a distance from the stop wall 40 in the first locking position and to be against the stop wall 40 in the second locking position.
[0099] Figures 5 to 12 show in more detail the different positions taken by the first mounting member 50 and the second locking member 70 respectively in the first through orifice 34 and in the second through orifice 35 of the support member 30.
[0100] In figures 5 to 8, the first mounting member 50 is in the first mounting position and the second locking member 70 is in the first locking position.
[0101] The first mounting member 50 is received in the first through orifice 34 by the first free end 56 so that the first positioning notch 36 cooperates with the first positioning cavity 59 which is closest to the first end portion 51.
[0102] The first mounting member 50 is then held in the support member 30 in its first mounting position.
[0103] In particular, the first end portion 51 is here entirely housed in the first through-hole 34, while the first intermediate portion 53 is only partially housed in the first through-hole 34 and the first head 52 is at a distance from the stop wall 40 of the support member 30, with the first bearing face 61 which is opposite the stop wall 40 of the support member 30.
[0104] The second locking member 70 is received in the second through orifice 35 by the second free end 75 so that the second positioning notch 37 cooperates in the second positioning cavity 79 which is closest to the second end portion 71.
[0105] The second locking member 70 is then held in the support member 30 in its first locking position.
[0106] In particular, the second end portion 71 is here entirely housed in the second through orifice 35, while the second intermediate portion 73 is housed only partially in the second through orifice 35 and the second head 72 is at a distance from the stop wall 40 of the support member 30, with the second bearing face 80 which is opposite the stop wall 40 of the support member 30.
[0107] In figures 9 to 12, the first mounting member 50 is in the second mounting position and the second locking member 70 is in the second locking position.
[0108] The first mounting member 50 is translated in the first through orifice 34 from its first mounting position until the first positioning notch 36 leaves the first positioning cavity 59 which is closest to the first end portion 51 and is received in the first positioning cavity 59 which is closest to the first head 52.
[0109] The first mounting member 50 is then held in the support member 30 in its second mounting position.
[0110] In particular, the first end portion 51 protrudes here completely outside the first through orifice 34, while the first intermediate portion 53 is housed at least partially in the first through orifice 34 and the first head 52 is against the stop wall 40 of the support member 30.
[0111] The second locking member 70 is translated in the second through orifice 35 from its first locking position until the second positioning notch 37 leaves the second positioning cavity 79 which is closest to the second end portion 71 and is received in the second positioning cavity 79 which is closest to the second head 72.
[0112] The second locking member 70 is then held in the support member 30 in its second locking position.
[0113] In particular, the second end portion 71 protrudes completely outside the second through orifice 35, while the second intermediate portion 73 is housed at least partially in the second through orifice 35 and the second head 72 is against the stop wall 40 of the support member 30.
[0114] Figures 13 to 17 show the assembly of one of the fixing devices 3 of the electrical system 2 on the cable tray 5, with reference to the different positions of the first mounting member 50 and the second locking member 70 described above, taking into account that the assembly of the other fixing devices 3 is done in a similar manner.
[0115] In particular, figures 13 to 17 are partial sectional views all identified on [Fig.2], which shows precisely different assembly configurations of the fastening devices 3, including a first assembly configuration corresponding to the unmounted and unlocked configuration where the first mounting member 50 is in its first mounting position and the second locking member 70 is in its first locking position ([Fig.13]), a third intermediate assembly configuration corresponding to the mounted and unlocked configuration where the first mounting member 50 is in its second mounting position and the second locking member 70 is in its first locking position (Figures 14 and 15), and a second assembly configuration corresponding to the mounted and locked configuration where the first mounting member 50 is in its second mounting position and the second locking member 70 is in its first locking position (Figures 16 and 17).
[0116] In [Fig. 13], the chassis 15 is arranged opposite the chute 5, with the first mounting member 50 of the fixing device 3 in the first mounting position where the first mounting member 50 is at a distance from the chute 5, and with the second locking member 70 of the fixing device 3 in the first locking position where the second locking member 70 is at a distance from the chute 5. It will be noted that the support member 30 is here mechanically secured to the support member 30 by means of the snap-fit edges of the lower portion of the body described above.
[0117] In the illustrated example, the first through orifice 34 and the second through orifice 35 of the support member 30 of the fixing device 3 open opposite the through window 21 of the frame 15, itself opposite the channel 5.
[0118] Thus, the first through orifice 34 and the second through orifice 35 open opposite the chute 5, and in particular opposite the mounting profile 6.
[0119] In figures 14 and 15, the first mounting member 50 is translated to move it from its first mounting position to its second mounting position where the first mounting member 50 protrudes from the chassis 15 and cooperates with the chute 5, by which means the chassis 15 of the box 14 is mechanically fixed to slide on the chute 5.
[0120] A user only needed to apply simple pressure to the first fillet-shaped support face 61 of the first head 52 to move the first member of assembly 50 from its first mounting position to its second mounting position where the first mounting element 50 protrudes from the through window 21.
[0121] The first end portion 51 of the first mounting member 50 is here slidably received in the receiving groove 10 of the mounting profile 6 and cooperates by snapping with the latter.
[0122] In particular, when the first mounting member 50 is translated, the first protrusion 54 enters the receiving groove 10, elastically stressing the walls until the first shoulder 57 passes, which thus allows the first end portion 51 to be retained in the receiving groove 10.
[0123] Thus, when the first mounting member 50 is in the second mounting position, the chassis 15 can be positioned on the chute 5 in a selected position by sliding it.
[0124] In figures 16 and 17, the second locking member 70 is translated to move it from its first locking position to its second locking position where the second locking member 70 protrudes from the chassis 15 and cooperates with the chute 5, by which means the chassis 15 of the box 14 is mechanically and securely fastened in the selected position on the chute 5.
[0125] The user only needed to exert a simple pressure on the second support face 80, here in the form of a fillet of the second head 72, to translate the second locking member 70 from its first locking position to its second locking position where the second locking member 70 also protrudes from the through window 21.
[0126] The second end portion 71 of the second locking member 70 is received securely in the receiving groove 10 of the mounting profile 6 and cooperates by snapping with the latter.
[0127] In particular, the tip 74 of the second end portion 71 comes into secure engagement in the receiving groove 10 of the mounting profile 6.
[0128] Indeed, the tip 74 of the second end portion 71 can penetrate the material of the bottom of the receiving groove 10 of the mounting profile 6.
[0129] Upon entering the receiving groove 10, the tip 74 elastically stresses the walls delimiting the receiving groove until the second shoulders 76 pass, which thus allow the second end portion 71 to be retained in the receiving groove 10.
[0130] The second shoulders 76 therefore allow the tip 74 to be held in the material of the bottom of the receiving groove 10 of the mounting profile 6.
[0131] Thus, when the second locking member 70 is in its second locking position, the chassis 15 is locked in the position selected on the chute 5.
[0132] In other words, in the electrical system 2, each fastening device 3 forms a mounting and locking accessory at least partially attached to the chassis 15 of the box 14 and actuated in two stages, namely a first stage by simple translational movement of the first mounting member 50 to mechanically secure the chassis 15 of the box 14 on the cable tray 5, while allowing the chassis 15 to slide relative to the cable tray 5 to position the chassis 15 in a determined and selectable position, then a second stage by simple translational movement of the second locking member 70 to mechanically and securely secure the chassis 15 of the box 14 on the cable tray 5 in the selected position.
[0133] Furthermore, in the electrical system 2, the first mounting member 50 and the second locking member 70 of each fastening device 3 are actuated by simple pressure first to secure the chassis 15 and then to lock it in position.
[0134] Figures 18 to 23 illustrate an electrical installation 1 comprising an electrical system 2 according to an alternative embodiment, which differs from the electrical system 2 described with reference to Figures 1 to 17 in that the support member 30 of each of the fixing devices 3 is made of the same material as the chassis 15 of the box 14.
[0135] In other words, the support members 30 of the fastening devices 3 are not attached to the chassis 15, but rather formed with the chassis 15.
[0136] Thus, the chassis 15 of the box 14 is devoid of the housings and associated through-windows since the first through-hole and the second through-hole are directly formed in the chassis 15.
[0137] In figures 18 and 19, the first lateral arm 16 of the chassis 15 is formed in one piece with the support members 30 of two fixing devices 3, while the second lateral arm 17 of the chassis 15 is formed in one piece with the support members 30 of two other fixing devices 3.
[0138] On [Fig.20], which partially shows the second lateral arm 17 of the chassis 15, a fixing device 3 whose first mounting member 50 is disposed opposite the second through hole 35 of the support member 30 and the second locking member 70 is disposed opposite the first through hole 34 of the support member 30.
[0139] In Figures 21 to 23, the first mounting member 50 is mounted through the second through-hole 35 of the support member 30 in the second mounting position where the first mounting member 50 protrudes from the chassis 15 and cooperates with the channel 5, thereby mechanically securing the chassis 15 of the enclosure 14 to slide along the channel 5, and the second locking member 70 is mounted through the first through-hole 34 of the support member 30 in the second locking position, where the second locking member 70 protrudes from the chassis 15 and cooperates with the chute 5, by means of which the chassis 15 of the box 14 is mechanically and securely fixed in a selected position on the chute 5.
[0140] The first through orifice 34 and the second through orifice 35 open directly opposite the chute 5, and in particular opposite the receiving groove 10 of the mounting profile 6.
[0141] Assembling the chassis 15 onto the chute 5 with the fastening devices 3 illustrated in figures 18 to 23 is done in a similar manner to the description of the assembly made with reference in particular to figures 13 to 17, with the first mounting member 50 and the second locking member 70 taking configurations and positions similar to those described with reference to figures 5 to 12, except that the support member 30 is not added but integrated into the chassis 15.
[0142] Variants not illustrated are described below.
[0143] The support member of at least one fastening device may include several first through holes and second through holes.
[0144] At least one fastening device may include several first mounting members and second locking members.
[0145] The mounting profiles can be separate from the determined support and configured to be installed on the determined support, for example by being attached and then secured to the determined support.
[0146] More generally, the invention is not limited to the examples described and represented.
