Abstract
The invention relates to a device (1) for generating airborne shock waves in the form of aperiodic peak-depression signals for the dynamic characterization of pressure sensors, comprising an air burster equipped with a pair of electrodes (2) and a system (3) for overvoltaging the electrodes to produce ignition between them, the ignition leading to the generation of a shock wave by air breakdown.
