Abstract

Improved safety cover for a swimming pool basin. A safety cover for a basin, particularly a swimming pool basin, of the type comprising a curtain and a winding mast (51) for this curtain. The winding mast (51) has an active surface (53), generally cylindrical, around which at least one end section of the curtain winds. The cover (1) further comprises at least one spacer arrangement (43) that is interposed between the winding mast (51) and the curtain at the point where the latter winds. The spacer arrangement (43) is arranged so as to keep a second section of the curtain, adjacent to the end section, away from the active surface (53) of the winding mast (51).
