Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and device for controlling the opening position of an electrically folding rearview mirror of a vehicle, comprising a touchscreen (12). For this purpose, data representing a set of conditions for folding or unfolding at least one electrically folding rearview mirror of the vehicle are received from at least one sensor installed in the vehicle. A button for controlling the opening position of the electrically folding rearview mirror is displayed on the touchscreen (12) according to a first graphic representation (320). A command to fold or unfold at least one electrically folding rearview mirror is transmitted following a touch press on the control button. Figure 3 (for the abstract)
