Description

Title of the invention: Cosmetic product packaging and dispensing device and associated assembly

[0001] The present invention relates to a device for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product intended to be obtained by mixing a first cosmetic composition and a second cosmetic composition different from the first cosmetic composition, comprising:

[0002] - a base intended to receive:

[0003] - at least one first cartridge containing the first cosmetic composition;

[0004] - at least a second cartridge containing the second composition cosmetics;

[0005] - a plate mounted on the base and defining a mixing surface on which the The first cosmetic composition and the second composition are intended to be mixed to obtain the cosmetic product.

[0006] the tray delimiting, for each cartridge, at least one through-hole for distributing the corresponding cosmetic composition from said cartridge,

[0007] at least one through orifice extending between the mixing surface and a lower surface of the tray opposite the mixing surface;

[0008] - an intermediate support mounted on the base and on which the platform is mounted, the intermediate support comprising for each cartridge an internal skirt delimiting a passage for the circulation of the corresponding cosmetic composition, intended to be in fluidic communication with a dispensing nozzle of said cartridge.

[0009] A cosmetic product is, for example, a hair product, a hygiene product, a facial and / or body care product, a makeup product, or a sun protection product. More generally, a cosmetic product is a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.

[0010] In such a device, all the orifices and circulation passages allowing the transfer of cosmetic compositions from the cartridges to the mixing surface are open to the air. This results in the cosmetic compositions being in contact with air. Consequently, the cosmetic compositions are highly susceptible to oxidation and / or drying. This can lead to the orifices and circulation passages becoming clogged by residues of the cosmetic compositions and causing a malfunction of the packaging device.

[0011] One object of the invention is therefore to propose a device in which the risk of malfunction is reduced.

[0012] To this end, the invention relates to a device for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product, of the aforementioned type, in which the tray is mounted to rotate freely on the intermediate support between:

[0013] - a distribution position in which each through orifice of the tray extends substantially in line with the circulation passage of the corresponding cosmetic composition so as to allow distribution of the corresponding cosmetic composition over the mixing surface;

[0014] - at least one shutter position in which the lower surface of the tray blocks each passageway.

[0015] Thanks to these features, when the device is not in use, the user can easily seal the circulation passages of the cosmetic compositions. This prevents the cosmetic compositions from being in prolonged contact with ambient air. The risk of clogging the distribution pathways of the cosmetic compositions is thus considerably reduced.

[0016] According to one variant, the base extends along a longitudinal axis, the circulation passages extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis, the platform being mobile in rotation around the longitudinal axis.

[0017] Thanks to these characteristics, the device has a geometry and kinematics that are simple for the user to operate.

[0018] According to another variant, the board comprises:

[0019] - an internal bowl defining at least part of the mixing surface;

[0020] - an external annular rim extending around the internal cup; and

[0021] - an external skirt extending from the outer annular edge towards the support intermediate.

[0022] Thanks to these features, the platform has a geometry that facilitates the use of the device by the user. Indeed, the mixing surface is easily identifiable by the user and the mixing of cosmetic compositions is easily achievable.

[0023] According to another variant, the outer annular edge and the outer skirt of the tray delimit an annular space, the intermediate support comprising a main wall applied against the lower surface of the tray and an outer peripheral skirt extending from the main wall into the annular space.

[0024] Thanks to these features, mounting the platform onto the intermediate support is facilitated. In addition, the overall size of the platform and the intermediate support is reduced.

[0025] According to another variant, the tray is guided in rotation between the distribution position and at least one obturating position, by cooperation of the external peripheral skirt of the intermediate support with the external annular edge and the external skirt of the tray.

[0026] Thanks to these characteristics, the movement of the rotating plate between the distribution position and at least one closing position is facilitated.

[0027] According to another variant, the tray includes a non-return valve in each distribution through orifice.

[0028] Thanks to these characteristics, it is prevented that the cosmetic compositions and / or the cosmetic product obtained by mixing do not penetrate the circulation passages.

[0029] According to another variant, the cosmetic product is intended to be obtained by mixing the first cosmetic composition, the second cosmetic composition and a third cosmetic composition different from the first cosmetic composition and the second cosmetic composition,

[0030] the base being intended to also receive at least a third cartridge containing the third cosmetic composition,

[0031] the mixing surface being such that the first cosmetic composition, the second cosmetic composition and the third cosmetic composition are intended to be mixed on it to obtain the cosmetic product,

[0032] in which:

[0033] the through-holes for distributing the first, second and third cosmetic compositions are distributed angularly around the longitudinal axis,

[0034] the circulation passages of the first, second and third cosmetic compositions are distributed angularly around the longitudinal axis.

[0035] The angular distribution of the distribution through orifices and circulation passages makes it possible to reduce the size of the device.

[0036] According to another variant, the base comprises:

[0037] - an external peripheral wall delimiting an internal space in which the cartridges are intended to be received;

[0038] - an upper wall on which the intermediate support is mounted;

[0039] the upper wall delimiting for each internal skirt of the intermediate support, an opening in which said internal skirt of the intermediate support extends.

[0040] Thanks to these features, the mounting of the intermediate support on the base of the device is facilitated and the device is made more robust.

[0041] The invention further relates to a cosmetic product packaging and dispensing assembly intended to be obtained by mixing a first cosmetic composition and a second cosmetic composition different from the first cosmetic composition, comprising:

[0042] - at least one first cartridge containing the first cosmetic composition and a dispensing nozzle for the first cosmetic composition;

[0043] - at least one second cartridge containing the second cosmetic composition and a dispensing nozzle for the second cosmetic composition;

[0044] - a device as described above;

[0045] each cartridge being movable between:

[0046] - an assembled configuration in which said cartridge is received in the base of so that the corresponding nozzle is in fluidic communication with a corresponding circulation passage of the intermediate support;

[0047] - a disassembled configuration in which said cartridge is arranged away from the base.

[0048] Thanks to these features, the cartridges in the set are replaceable according to the user's needs.

[0049] According to one variant, for each cartridge, the corresponding nozzle includes a tubular conduit defining a distribution passage for the corresponding cosmetic composition,

[0050] wherein in the mounted configuration, an external peripheral surface of the tubular conduit cooperates with an internal peripheral surface of the corresponding internal skirt of the intermediate support to put the distribution passage of said nozzle into fluidic communication with the corresponding circulation passage.

[0051] Thanks to these characteristics, the cartridges are put into fluidic communication with the distribution passages of the cosmetic products in a simple, robust and leak-proof manner.

[0052] The invention will become clearer upon reading the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the drawings in which:

In particular, the dispensing passage 20 is in fluidic communication with the corresponding reservoir 14A, 14B, 14C.

[0079] In the assembled configuration, an external peripheral surface 22 of the tubular conduit 18 cooperates with an internal peripheral surface 51 of a corresponding internal skirt 50 of the intermediate support 44 to put the corresponding tip 16A into fluidic communication with a passage 52 for the circulation of the corresponding cosmetic composition.

[0080] Advantageously, for each cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C, the corresponding nozzle 16A comprises an annular seal 24 extending into an annular groove cut into the outer peripheral surface 22 of the corresponding tubular conduit 18. Said annular seal 24 cooperates in particular with the inner peripheral surface 51 of the corresponding inner skirt 50 to ensure a leak-proof fluid connection between the distribution passage 20 of the corresponding cosmetic composition and the circulation passage 52 of the corresponding cosmetic composition.

[0081] The device 30 comprises a base 32, an intermediate support 44 and a platform 56.

[0082] Advantageously, the device 30 further includes a cover 84 (visible in figures 1 and 4).

[0083] Base 32 is intended to receive the first cartridge 12A, the second cartridge 12B and in the specific example presented here, the third cartridge 12C.

[0084] With reference to the example in Figures 1 to 4, the base 32 extends along a longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0085] Advantageously, the base 32 comprises an external peripheral wall 34 and an upper wall 38.

[0086] The outer peripheral wall 34 delimits an internal space 36 in which the cartridges 12A, 12B, 12C are intended to be received.

[0087] In particular, the outer peripheral wall 34 extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis A-A'. In particular, the outer peripheral wall 34 is substantially cylindrical with longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0088] The upper wall 38 is mounted on the outer peripheral wall 34, in particular at an upper edge 35 of the outer peripheral wall 34.

[0089] In particular, the upper wall 38 extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0090] Advantageously, the upper wall 38 delimits for each internal skirt 50 of the intermediate support 44, an opening 40 in which said internal skirt 50 of the intermediate support 44 extends.

[0091] Advantageously, the base 32 includes an internal (non-visible) support on which the cartridges 12A, 12B, 12C are intended to be mounted. For example, the internal support is such that when the cartridges 12A, 12B, 12C are mounted on the internal support, the cartridges 12A, 12B, 12C extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis A-A' and are angularly distributed around the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0092] The intermediate support 44 is mounted on the base 32, in particular on the upper wall 38 of the base 32.

[0093] Advantageously, the intermediate support 44 extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A-A', opposite the upper wall 38 of the base 32.

[0094] In particular, the intermediate support 44 includes a main wall 46 and an external peripheral skirt 48.

[0095] The main wall 46 extends in particular in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A-A', opposite the upper wall 38 of the base 32.

[0096] In particular, as can be seen in [Fig.4], the main wall 46 is applied against a lower surface 62 of the plate 56.

[0097] In particular, the main wall 46 is further applied against an upper surface 39 of the upper wall 38 of the base 32.

[0098] Advantageously, the outer peripheral skirt 48 extends from the main wall 46 into an annular space 76 delimited by the plate 56.

[0099] The intermediate support 44 comprises, for each cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C, an internal skirt 50 delimiting a passage 52 for the circulation of the corresponding cosmetic composition, the circulation passage 52 being intended to be in fluidic communication with the nozzle 16A of said cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C.

[0100] In particular, each internal skirt 50 extends from the main wall 46 towards the upper wall 38 of the base 32.

[0101] Advantageously, the internal skirts 50 are distributed angularly around the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0102] In particular, the circulation passages 52 of the first, second and third cosmetic compositions are distributed angularly around the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0103] Advantageously, the circulation passage 52 of each internal skirt 50 crosses the main wall 46 from one side to the other along the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0104] In particular, the traffic passages 52 extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0105] The plate 56 is mounted on the base 32, in particular on the intermediate support 44 which, as a reminder, is itself mounted on the base 32.

[0106] The tray 56 defines a mixing surface 58 on which the first and second cosmetic compositions, and in the example shown here also the third cosmetic composition, are intended to be mixed to obtain the cosmetic product. For example, the cosmetic compositions are intended to be mixed on the mixing surface 58 by the user using their fingers or a dedicated tool such as a brush.

[0107] For each cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C, the tray 56 delimits at least one through orifice 60 for the distribution of the corresponding cosmetic composition from said cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C.

[0108] In the example described below, the plate 56 delimits for each cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C a through-hole distribution 60. Of course, the invention also relates to the case where the plate 56 delimits a plurality of through-hole distribution 60 for each cartridge 12A, 12B, 12C.

[0109] Advantageously, the through-holes of distribution 60 of the first, second and third cosmetic compositions are distributed angularly around the longitudinal axis A-A'.

[0110] Each distribution through orifice 60 extends between the mixing surface 58 and the lower surface 62 of the tray 56 opposite the mixing surface 58.

[0111] Advantageously, the plate 56 extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A-A' and covers in particular the intermediate support 44.

[0112] The plate 56 is mounted to rotate freely on the intermediate support 44, in particular about the longitudinal axis A-A', between:

[0113] - a distribution position in which each orifice passes through 60 of the tray 56 extends substantially in line with passage 52 of the traffic of the corresponding cosmetic composition so as to allow distribution of the corresponding cosmetic composition on the mixing surface 58;

[0114] - at least one shutter position in which the lower surface 62 of the tray 56 blocks each traffic passage 52.

[0115] Advantageously, the tray 56 includes an internal cup 64, an external annular edge 72 and an external skirt 74.

[0116] The internal bowl 64 defines at least in part the mixing surface 58.

[0117] According to a first example illustrated in [Fig. 3], the internal bowl 64 comprises a flat bottom 66 extending substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis A-A' and a peripheral edge 68 extending around the flat bottom 66. The mixing surface 58 is defined in particular by the flat bottom 66 and at least partly by the peripheral edge 68. In particular, the flat bottom 66 and the peripheral edge 68 delimit a mixing space 70 in which the cosmetic product is contained after being formed.

[0118] According to a second example illustrated in [Fig.4], the mixing surface 58 is curved.

[0119] The external annular edge 72 extends around the internal cup 64, in particular from the peripheral edge 68 of the internal cup 64.

[0120] The outer skirt 74 extends from the outer annular edge 72 towards the intermediate support 44.

[0121] In particular, the outer annular edge 72 and the outer skirt 74 of the plate 56 delimit the annular space 76.

[0122] Advantageously, the plate 56 is guided in rotation between the distribution position and at least one obturating position, by cooperation of the external peripheral skirt 48 of the intermediate support 44 with the external annular edge 72 and the external skirt 74 of the plate 56.

[0123] Even more advantageously, as illustrated in the example of [Fig.3], the plate 56 includes a non-return valve 80 in each distribution through orifice 60.

[0124] The cover 84 is intended to cover the tray 56. The cover 84 is in particular suitable for being removably mounted on the tray 56 so as to cover the mixing surface 58.

[0125] Thanks to the invention, it is possible to seal the circulation passages of cosmetic compositions when the device is not in use. This reduces the contact time of any cosmetic composition residues that may become trapped in the circulation passages. Consequently, the drying and / or oxidation of these residues is considerably slowed. This, in turn, reduces the risk of clogging the circulation passages with these residues.
