Abstract
Female fluid connection element and associated fluid connection. This female element (100), which provides an internal channel (V100), comprises a main body (110) and an adapter (120) that is rotatable relative to the main body. The main body has a distal opening (112) designed to receive a male fitting (10). The adapter comprises a proximal portion (121B), which can be connected to a pipe, and a distal portion (121A) with a tubular section (124) through which the adapter is inserted into a bore (114) in the main body. A seal support (160), which is received in the internal channel (V100), supports a first seal (191) between the seal support (160) and an internal surface of the tubular portion (124), and a second seal (192) which is provided to ensure a seal between the seal support (160) and the male end (10) in the connected position, the seal support (160) being free to rotate relative to the main body (110).Figure for the abbreviation: Figure 1.
