Remote operating system for a vehicle, infotainment system for a vehicle, vehicle comprising such an infotainment system and associated electronic control unit. The invention relates to a remote operating system (11) for a vehicle (1).The remote operating system (11) belongs to a remote server (3) and comprises: - a remote control unit (17), configured to connect the remote operating system (11) to an infotainment system (5) of the vehicle (1) and to send a rendering to be displayed to an orchestration module (13); - at least one remote hardware abstraction layer (18A, 18B), configured to communicate with at least one on-board equipment (9A, 9B, 9C) of the infotainment system (5) via at least one transmitter module (15A, 15B); and - at least one remote application (22), connected to at least one remote hardware abstraction layer (18A, 18B) and configured to control at least one on-board equipment (9A, 9B, 9C) and process data from at least one on-board equipment.
