Abstract
A device (100) is proposed for collecting environmental DNA in an aquatic environment. The device is configured for integration onto a drone. The device includes a filter (110), means for conveying water from the aquatic environment (120) to the filter, and a pump (130). The pump is configured to drive the water through said conveying means to the filter. The filter is configured to collect the DNA present in the conveyed water. The device provides an improved solution for collecting environmental DNA in an aquatic environment. [Fig. 1]
