Abstract

A device (100) is proposed for collecting environmental DNA in an aquatic environment. The device is configured for integration onto a drone. The device includes a filter (110), means for conveying water from the aquatic environment (120) to the filter, and a pump (130). The pump is configured to drive the water through said conveying means to the filter. The filter is configured to collect the DNA present in the conveyed water.
