AI Technical Summary
Existing bronchial valve membranes struggle to balance flexibility and hardness, leading to friction and granulation issues when contacting the bronchus, limiting their therapeutic effectiveness in treating emphysema.
A two-layer membrane structure comprising an inner stent membrane with high hardness and an outer stent membrane with a softer film, both made from a vulcanized polyurethane solution, providing improved flexibility and support while reducing bronchial wall damage.
The two-layer membrane structure enhances the bronchial valve's performance by reducing granulation tissue growth and bronchitis risk, improving stability and support, thus offering a more effective treatment for emphysema with reduced trauma.

Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of bronchial valve membranes, and particularly to, a two-layer membrane structure of a bronchial valve. BACKGROUND
[0002] A chronic obstructive pulmonary disease such as emphysema is common, which especially occurs among elderly people. Traditionally, therapies for emphysema generally include medical treatment and surgical treatment. The medical treatment includes oxygen inhalation, prevention of pulmonary infection, bronchial spasmolysis, and the like, but the therapeutic effect is extremely limited. The surgical treatment mainly focuses on lung volume reduction surgery, but it also has many limitations, such as strict surgical indications, many complications, anesthesia, anesthesia-related complications, difficulty in predicting preoperative efficacy, postoperative inability to compensate for the unsatisfactory efficacy caused by excessive or insufficient resection, high surgical costs, and great mental and physical pains. In addition, due to a poor lung function, some patients often cannot tolerate the surgery, resulting in a high postoperative death rate, which limits the application of surgical operations. According to statistics, the five-year survival rate of patients with end-stage emphysema is less than 50%. In order to better treat the emphysema, improve the quality of life of patients, and reduce the trauma to patients during surgery, using transbronchoscopic bronchial valve intervention to treat the emphysema has been internationally studied. At present, bronchial valves mainly used in the international market include duckbill bronchial valves and umbrella-shaped bronchial valves.
[0003] A bronchial valve is a one-way valve that treats the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease according to the principle of a one-way air flow. The bronchial valve is composed of two parts: a stent and a membrane. The patent applied for this time is a membrane related technology. The bronchial valve mainly relies on a membrane to prevent air in the lung and bronchus, requiring the membrane to have good flexibility and hardness. However, the membrane needs to contact a surface of the bronchus. An existing bronchial valve membrane is generally a single-layer inner membrane, outside which, a metal abuts against a tracheal wall, so that hardness and good flexibility cannot be balanced. A too hard membrane would frictionize the surface of the bronchus, causing granulation. SUMMARY

[0024] Embodiments
[0025] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, the present disclosure provides a two-layer membrane structure of a bronchial valve. The two-layer membrane structure includes a stent main body 1 and a stent membrane 2; the stent membrane 2 includes an outer stent membrane 201 and an inner stent membrane 202; and the outer stent membrane 201 and the inner stent membrane 202 respectively cover an inner side and an outer side of the stent main body 1.
[0026] Further, the stent main body 1 is of an umbrella-shaped structure.
[0027] Further, the stent main body 1 includes several stents 101, anchor rods 102, and a connecting block 103; and the several stents 101 and the anchor rods 102 are welded into a whole through the connecting block 103.
[0028] Further, a quantity of the stents 101 is six, which is of an overall umbrella-shaped structure. The single stent 101 is an arc long strip.
[0029] Further, a quantity of the anchor rods 102 is five. A tail end of each anchor rod 102 is forked into two sections, one of which is bent.
[0030] Further, the connecting block 103 inside the stent main body 1 is welded with a connecting rod 3; and the connecting rod 3 is connected with a withdrawal handle 4.
[0031] Further, the stent membrane 2 is colloid, with a thickness of 10 to 100 microns.
[0032] Further, the stent membrane 2 is prepared by vulcanizing a rubber stock solution, and the rubber stock solution is a polyurethane solution.
[0033] Working principle:
[0034] The two-layer membrane structure of the bronchial valve of the present disclosure is composed of the frame-type umbrella-shaped stent main body 1 and the stent membrane 2. The stent membrane 2 is divided into an inner layer and an outer layer. The stent membrane 2 is formed into a whole after the rubber stock solution is uniformly smeared on the stent main body 1 and processed. The stent membrane 2 clings to the stent main body 1. Due to the two-layer membrane technology of the inner stent membrane 202 and the outer stent membrane 201, the inner stent membrane 202 has relatively high hardness, achieving good flexibility and a good supporting effect; the outer stent membrane 201 adopts a softer film; and the two membranes with different hardnesses are composited together, which not only ensures that the product has good performance, but also avoids granulation tissues growing on an inner wall of the bronchus. The structure improves the support force and stability of the stent main body 1, reducing the damage rate of the inner wall of the bronchus, and reducing the probability of occurrence of bronchitis.
