1. A joinery or furniture kit comprising: a first member which includes at least one pocket hole; a second member including at least one screw hole or channel, at least one fastening means and wherein the locations of said at least one pocket hole and at least one screw hole or channel are such that said at least one fastening means passes from the first to the second member to fasten the same together.

A kit according to claim 1 wherein the first member includes a plurality of pocket holes and the second member includes a plurality of screw holes or channels which when the first and second members are brought together allow the passage therethrough of one of a plurality of fastening means provided in said kit.

3. A kit according to claims 1 or 2 wherein the fastening means is also used as a forming means for use to create or form the said screw hole or channel in the second member.

4. A kit according to claims 1 or 2 wherein the kit includes a forming means, different to the fastening means, for use to create or form the said screw hole or channel m the second member.

5. A kit according to any of the preceding claims wherein the screw hole or channel is formed using any, or any combination of, creating, screwing, cutting, drilling, material removal and / or material displacement processes.

A kit according to any of the claims 3-5 wherein the forming means is a pocket screw.7 A kit according to any of the preceding claims wherein the fastening means is a substantially blunt screw and / or is not adapted for any one, or more, of biting into, cutting or piercing and / or is a thread forming screw.

8. A kit according to any of the preceding claims wherein the kit includes a retention substance for retaining the fastening means in position.

A kit according to any preceding claim wherein the fastening means protrudes from the first member prior to the subsequent fastening of the second member to the first member.10 A kit according to any of the preceding claims wherein the kit includes a means to form a locating, recessed and / or countersink feature in said at least one screw hole or channel m the second member.

11. A kit according to claims 9 and 10 wherein the portion of the fastening means protruding from the first member locates in said locating, recess and / or countersink feature of the screw-hole or channel of the second member prior to tightening of the said fastening screw by an assembler.

12. A kit according to any of claims 9-11 wherein the first member is located and positioned on the second member before each fastening screw is tightened.

13. A kit according to any of the preceding claims wherein the kit includes one or more locating elements to temporarily secure the members in a desired relative position while said fastening means are put or driven into place.

14. A kit according to any of the preceding claims wherein said kit includes a plurality of members formed as panels.15 A kit to any of the preceding claims wherein the number of members provided in the kit are sufficient to allow said item of joinery or furniture to be formed therefrom.
