Apparatus for repair of pitch marks

Abstract

An apparatus for use in the repair of pitch marks comprises a handle 12 defining a longitudinal axis (14, fig 3); and a prong arrangement 16 defining a longitudinal axis (18, fig. 3), the prong arrangement 16 comprising one or more prongs. The apparatus is reconfigurable between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. In the retracted configuration the prong arrangement 16 is substantially located within the handle 12. In the extended configuration the prong arrangement 16 substantially protrudes from the handle 12 and the longitudinal axis of the prong arrangement (18) is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the handle (14). The handle 12 may be formed of two plates 36, 42 and a biased actuation mechanism is preferably provided to transition from the retracted to extended configuration.
