Abstract

A computer-implemented method assisting a communications network operator in identifying a fault to prioritise for maintenance or repair involves receiving subjective data indicative of potential network performance degradation of the communications network, receiving objective data relating to measurements of the performance of the communications network measured by a user device connected to the communications network, associating the subjective data related to a user device with objective data received from that same user device to form associated data, and assisting the operator to identify the fault by prioritising the fault based on the associated data. Other aspects of the invention involving triggering the objective measurements are also defined.
