Security challenge

Abstract

An automated computer-implemented method of generating a security challenge to determine whether a user of a computer is a human, the method comprising: retrieving a video; separating the video into a plurality of frames; selecting at least one frame of the plurality of frames as a target image; and saving a challenge, the challenge comprising a plurality of images corresponding to the frames, and the at least one target image. Also disclosed is a method of determining whether an operator of a computing device is a human, the method comprising: displaying a challenge, the challenge comprising a target image and a current image; receiving an input to alter the current image; storing the received input; altering the current image based on the received input, wherein consecutive current images correspond to an animation; identifying if the current image matches a target image; based on the identifying, determining that the challenge is complete; and receiving an indication, based on the stored received input, whether the operator of a computing device proving the input is human.
