A subsoiler and a leg assembly for a subsoiler

Abstract

A leg assembly comprises a leg 11 and a ground tilling portion 12. The leg 11 is adjustably mounted to a mounting section 13 of the subsoiler via an adjustment arrangement 14. The leg 11 is adjustable relative to the mounting section 13 of the subsoiler such that the angle of attack of the ground tilling portion 12 relative to the ground is adjustable. The adjustment arrangement 14 comprises a circular insert 16 with a bolt fastener offset from the centre. Rotating the adjustment insert 16 changes the angle of attack of the leg. A wedge shaped protrusion (fig 8: 23) can be positioned in a choice of wedge shaped recess (fig 7: 22a, 22b) to select leg mounting angle dependent on soil type, to adjust for a worn part or reduce heave.
