Landing craft

Abstract

A landing craft (10, Fig 2) comprising a hull (100, Fig 2) having a bow end (102, Fig 2) and a stern end (104, Fig 2). The hull further having, a first side (106, Fig 1) and a second side (108, Fig 1) of the hull spaced apart from one another. The hull further having, a bottom (110, Fig 2) and a top deck (112, Fig 2) spaced apart from one another. The hull further comprises a first hull wall assembly 140 spaced apart from a second hull wall assembly 150, across the craft, by a deck assembly (142, Fig 6). The first hull wall assembly comprises a first weapon unit 400 and / or the second hull wall assembly comprises a second weapon unit. The, or each, weapon unit are operable to have, and to move between a hidden position in which the, or each, weapon unit is located within the respective hull wall assembly; and a firing position in which the, or each, weapon unit is located outside of the respective hull wall assembly.
