Method of treating a material

Abstract

The present invention provides a method of treating a material with water‑insoluble particles, the method comprising: (a) providing a suspension of water‑insoluble particles in water; (b) applying the suspension of water‑insoluble particles to the material; (c) applying a chitosan solution to the material to obtain treated material; and (d) drying the treated material at a temperature not exceeding 100 °C, wherein the material comprises textile, preferably fabric, yarn, and / or fibre.
