Blast protection wall

Abstract

A blast protection wall having a modular construction comprising a frame 12, a plurality of planters 14 and vegetation 15 provided at the planters. An area or vegetation zone 26 occupied by or available to be occupied by the vegetation at the wall is greater than an area or zone occupied by the planters. The planters or planter supports may be releasably connected to the frame elements or formed integrally. The frame elements may be vertical / upstanding wherein the planter supports may extend laterally between said frames. The planter supports may support a single planter or a plurality of planters releasably engaging with the planter supports. The frame or planter supports may be made of wood, plastic or aluminium or be provided with a auxetic material liner. Figure 1
