Liquid electrical vaporiser

Abstract

A liquid electric vaporiser (1, fig. 2) comprising a housing (3, fig. 2), a detachable refill bottle (4, fig. 2) having a wick (5, fig. 2) in fluid communication with a material to be dispensed therefrom and extending to an area proximate with a heater (2, fig. 2). There is a power source operably connectable to the heater to supply power to the heater and vaporise the fluid, and a control circuit configured to control the supply of power to the heater based on a micro cycle and a macro cycle. The micro cycle comprises alternating between a first operation profile for a first predetermined time, and a second operation profile for a second predetermined time during which the power supplied to the heater is close to or equal to zero. The macro cycle comprises alternating between a third operation profile for a third predetermined time during which the vaporiser operates based on the micro cycle, and a fourth operation profile for a fourth predetermined time during which the micro cycle is overridden such that a reduced power is supplied to the vaporiser. In one embodiment, the macro cycle is 7 days wherein the vaporiser operates under the micro cycle for 6 days and then no power is supplied for 1 day. (Figure 3)
