Abstract
This invention concerns a household organic waste processing technology that integrates aerobic fermentation and solid residue bioconversion processes in one system. This invention is a liquid organic fertilizer reactor based on used drums equipped with an aeration system, a liquid and solid phase separator, and a liquid organic fertilizer outlet valve. Organic waste is fermented aerobically with the help of a bioactivator to produce liquid organic fertilizer, while the resulting solid residue is used as a cultivation medium for Hermetia illucens maggots. This integration enables zero-waste organic waste processing, producing economically valuable products in the form of liquid organic fertilizer, maggot biomass, and solid residue as organic fertilizer. This invention is simple, economical, easy to apply on a household scale, and environmentally friendly.
