Abstract
This invention concerns the method and process of hydrolysis of konjac glucomannan into konjac glucomannan hydrolysate by acid-sonication hydrolysis method for use as inhalation microsphere polymer and formulation of quercetin-konjac glucomannan hydrolysate microspheres, more specifically this invention discusses the method of hydrolysis of konjac glucomannan into konjac glucomannan hydrolysate to produce polymers that can be applied to the manufacture of inhalation microspheres by spray dry method and this invention also concerns the formula and process of production of quercetin-konjac glucomannan microspheres by spray dry technique. Microsphere formula with quercetin concentration of 0.2 and 0.4%; konjac glucomannan hydrolysate concentration of 1.0%; 1.5%; 2.0%; with spray dry conditions set at inlet temperature 130 ± 5°C; outlet temperature 70 ± 5°C; Pump 2.0; spray Gas / flow rate 680 ml / hour.
