Abstract

Embodiments of the present application disclose a coding method and a decoding method. The decoding method includes: according to a prediction parameter of a current block, determining a prediction reference block of a current block; according to a residual value of a brightness component of the current block and a brightness prediction reference block, determining a reconstruction value of the brightness component of the current block; according to a chroma sample in a chroma prediction reference block, determining a set of model reference brightness samples corresponding to the chroma sample; according to the set of model reference brightness samples, the residual value of the brightness component of the current block, and the prediction reference block of the current block, determining a model parameter of an inter-component prediction model;according to the chroma samples in the chroma prediction reference block, determining a set of predicted reference brightness samples corresponding to the chroma samples; according to the model parameters of the inter-component prediction model, the set of predicted reference brightness samples, the residual value of the brightness component of the current block, and the reconstruction value of the brightness component of the current block, determining a predicted value of the chroma component of the current block.;
