Abstract
This image is a vehicle information display image that shows the flow of energy in the vehicle, and is displayed on a display at a position where the driver can see it even while driving. The image shown in the image diagram is displayed when the motor is driven in EV mode, where the motor runs on battery power only, the image shown in image diagram 1, which shows the change, is displayed when the front and rear wheels are regeneratively braked in EV mode, and the images shown in images diagrams 2 and 3, which show the change, are displayed when one of the front and rear wheels is driven and the other is regeneratively braked in EV mode. The direction and lighting color of the "L-shaped" part that resembles the tip of an arrow in the part connecting the rectangular gauge that resembles a battery and the tire changes between when the motor is driven and when the regenerative brake is applied. The image shown in image diagram 4, which shows the change, is displayed when the motor is driven in series mode, where the battery is charged by generating electricity from the engine while the motor runs, and the image shown in image diagram 5, which shows the change, is displayed when the front and rear wheels are regeneratively braked in series mode. The image shown in FIG. 6, which shows the image after the change, is displayed during motor assist in the parallel mode, which allows motor assist while driving with the engine, and the image shown in FIG. 7, which shows the image after the change, is displayed during regenerative braking of the front and rear wheels in the parallel mode. In the series mode and parallel mode, when one of the front and rear wheels is driven and the other is regenerative braking, the display of the part connecting the gauge and the tire changes, as in the images shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, which show the image after the change. The image shown in FIG. 8, which shows the image after the change, is displayed during driving in the gasoline mode, which drives with the engine, and the image shown in FIG. 9, which shows the image after the change, is displayed during regenerative braking of the front and rear wheels in the gasoline mode. Note that when regenerative braking is performed on only one of the front and rear wheels, only the part connecting the tire on the regenerative brake side and the gauge is lit. Also, as shown in the images shown in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11, which show the image after the change, the lit part of the gauge changes according to the remaining power, and the lit area increases as the remaining power increases.
