Abstract

The article according to the present design is a display unit using a fine LED element as a light source. Although it can function alone, usually a plurality of them are assembled and used. By combining many of them, a large screen can be formed, and it is also possible to construct a relatively small screen with a small number of units. The article of the present application has a layer (hereinafter referred to as "decoration layer") with various graphical decorations such as photos, paintings, etc. applied so as to be visually recognized on its screen, and has a slight opening around the LED element serving as a light source. Therefore, as shown in the reference diagram showing an example of the embodiment, when the article of the present application is not energized, only the decoration on the decoration layer is visually recognized, and when it is energized, only the video projected on the display is visually recognized (in the reference enlarged view of the C-D part, the part indicated by the lead wire 1 is the opening, 2 is the display surface, 3 is the LED element, and 4 is the surface of the decoration layer). Thus, the article of the present application functions as a display device for projecting videos and the like, and also functions as a decorative material to be embedded in the inner and outer walls of buildings and the like for use. Although there are various specific usage scenarios, for example, if it is used on the inner wall of the living room of a house, it can be used as a display for watching television broadcasts and the like. On the other hand, when not watching, it becomes a wall as it is, so there is no need to place a television receiver in the living room, and the degree of freedom in the configuration of the living space increases.
