Abstract

This product is a channel-shaped concrete structure used in tunnels of ore storage facilities that house belt conveyors and the like for transporting ore. An ore storage hopper is installed in the opening, and the portion other than the open upper surface is buried underground. Specifically, it is a channel-shaped concrete structure with an open top and a pair of side walls extending along the direction of ore transport. A wheel stop is integrally formed at the upper end of one of the pair of side walls, and an ore fall prevention plate is provided on the upper end of the wheel stop via a frame. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the State of Use," when buried, the wheel stop protrudes from the ground in a trapezoidal shape when viewed from the side. The inclined surface of the wheel stop catches the wheels of heavy machinery (e.g., a wheel loader) traveling toward the ore storage hopper, restricting the approach of the heavy machinery and thus preventing the heavy machinery from coming into contact with the ore storage hopper. Furthermore, the ore fall prevention plate, which is connected to the inclined surface of the wheel stop, has its upper end connected to the edge of the open upper surface of the ore storage hopper. This guides any ore that spills out of the ore storage hopper downwards, preventing it from falling into the concrete structure when heavy machinery is used to load the ore.
