Abstract

This product is a pair of eyeglasses with spring hinges. The hinge includes a hook portion connected to an elastic member such as a metal spring or rubber provided inside the temple portion, a receiving portion connected to the end-piece portion and engaging with the hook portion, and a generally cylindrical portion covering the hook portion and receiving portion. The hook portion is slidable longitudinally within the temple portion as the elastic member expands and contracts, and connects the temple portion to the end-piece portion so that it can rotate freely around the engaging portion with the receiving portion. As shown in "Reference Diagrams 1 and 2 Showing the State of Use," the user can bend or rotate the temple portion in any direction, up, down, left, or right, centered on the hinge portion.
