Abstract
This image is a display screen setting image used for operating industrial machines such as CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine tools. As shown in the reference diagram showing the names of each part, a reduced image (thumbnail) of the "standby screen" is placed in the left area of this image. The "standby screen" is a screen that is displayed on the display unit (touch panel) of the industrial machine during the startup process of the operating system (OS) after the industrial machine is turned on. A reduced image of the "initial display screen" is placed in the right area of this image. The "initial display screen" is a screen that is displayed first on the display unit of the industrial machine after the startup process of the OS is completed. A combo box (pull-down menu) is placed below the area where the reduced image of the "initial display screen" is placed. When the combo box is touched or clicked, multiple options for the "initial display screen" are displayed. The user of the industrial machine can select the desired "initial display screen" from the options in the combo box. Reference figures 1 to 4 showing the usage state show an example of screen transition when a frequently used "maintenance display (program display)" screen is set as the "initial display screen" instead of the initial setting "home screen". In this case, when the industrial machine is restarted, after the "standby screen" shown in reference figure 5 showing the usage state is displayed, the "maintenance display (program display)" screen shown in reference figure 7 showing the usage state is displayed instead of the "home screen" shown in reference figure 6 showing the usage state. This eliminates the need for the user to touch or click the icon of a desired app (application) on the "home screen" to call up a screen in the app every time the industrial machine is started. Any screen can be set as an option in the combo box. For example, the "maintenance display (current position)" screen shown in reference figure 8 showing the usage state, the "favorite" app screen shown in reference figure 9 showing the usage state, the "NC operation" app screen shown in reference figure 10 showing the usage state, etc. may be set.
