Abstract

The article of the present design, "air intake system," is arranged on a grid-type system ceiling facing the indoor space to be air-conditioned, and is a combination of an air outlet device that blows conditioned air into the indoor space and an air inlet device that directs the air in the indoor space toward the ceiling space. This air intake system allows indoor air to be sucked into the ceiling space through the air inlet device, while the airflow of the conditioned air blown out from the air outlet device advances horizontally into the indoor space, allowing the airflow of the conditioned air to be widely diffused throughout the indoor space, and air conditioning can be efficiently performed while replacing the indoor air with conditioned air. The air outlet device and air inlet device that make up the air intake system are both elongated and arranged parallel to the support frame of the system ceiling, and can be combined seamlessly on both sides of other ceiling-mounted fixtures such as lighting fixtures, resulting in a stable ceiling design. In addition, by setting the direction in which the conditioned air is guided by the air outlet device so that it is not directed towards the air inlet device, indoor air can be sucked in from the air inlet device without causing a short circuit in which part of the conditioned air is sucked in from the air inlet device, and the airflow of the conditioned air blown out from the air outlet device can be reliably directed towards the indoor space, allowing efficient air conditioning as a system.
