Abstract

The article according to the present application (hereinafter, referred to as "the article") is a support structure for supporting scaffolding and the like at a construction site. The article has a base part that is U-shaped and opens upward in a side view, a movable part that is arranged to cover the base and is U-shaped and opens downward in a side view, a sliding part that slides horizontally relative to the base, and a locking part that engages with the sliding part. When the article supports the scaffolding, the base part is attached to the tip of a columnar body, and the movable part abuts against the scaffolding from below. In the article, when the sliding part slides so as to be pulled out from the base, the convex part protruding downward of the movable part rides on the convex part protruding upward of the sliding part, so that the movable part moves upward. At this time, the locking part engages with the sliding part to prevent the sliding part from sliding so as to be pushed into the base. Also, when the sliding part slides so as to be pushed into the base, the convex part of the movable part falls into the concave part between the adjacent convex parts of the sliding part, so that the movable part moves downward.
