Abstract

This item is a handhole lid receiving frame that constitutes part of a handhole that is installed as a relay point when laying electric or communication cables. As shown in the "Reference exploded perspective view showing the positional relationship of this item to the entire handhole" and the "Reference partially cutaway perspective view showing the positional relationship of this item to the entire handhole", the handhole is composed of a main body consisting of a square-shaped lower body and an upper frame that covers the opening of the lower body and has a through hole, a lid receiving frame of this item that is provided on the upper frame of the main body and has a lid opening, a connecting frame that is interposed between the upper frame of the main body and the lid receiving frame as necessary for height adjustment and has a through hole that communicates with the lid opening, and a lid that is detachably provided on the lid receiving frame and closes the lid opening. The lid receiving frame of this item is characterized in that it has a concave portion around the lid opening on its underside that engages with a convex portion provided around the through hole on the upper surface of the upper frame or the connecting frame to prevent the lid receiving frame from slipping, and has three notches on the outer periphery of its underside at equal angular intervals into which a crowbar is inserted.
