Control Panel for Fuel Dispenser

Abstract

An operation panel used for refueling operations at a gas station. It includes a screen section and an operation section provided with a reading device for IC cards, coupons, etc. provided below the screen section. The surface of the operation section protrudes more than other components such as the screen section in order to prevent malfunction or damage due to unintended contact with the screen section and to make it easier to hold cards over it. The top surface of the operation section is gently inclined so that dust, water droplets, etc. that are likely to accumulate due to the protrusion of the surface of the operation section more than other components will naturally fall without accumulating. There is a recessed step at the lower end of the operation section, and a depression is provided so that a hand can be inserted from below from the lower end of the operation section to the back side of the operation section, and the door of the operation panel can be opened by pulling the operation panel forward.
