Calibration slide

Abstract

This article is a calibration slide used for shading correction when using microscopes, slide scanners, etc. Conventional calibration slides performed shading correction by imaging the fluorescence generated by exciting fluorescent acrylic. However, in this case, if the fluorescence intensity decreases due to the fading of the fluorescent acrylic, shading correction cannot be performed correctly. In contrast, since this article uses the fluorescence generated by exciting an inorganic semiconductor substrate and has very little fading, appropriate shading correction can be performed. And this article has a pattern portion on the surface of the inorganic semiconductor substrate. The pattern portion is for focusing the imaging unit of a microscope, a slide scanner, etc., and thereby, a high-precision image can be obtained.
