Baby carrier

Abstract

This item is a baby carrier strap (a "hugging strap" or "piggyback strap") used for "hugging" or "piggybacking" infants. This item includes a protective cover, a head support, a head support buckle, a support buckle, armholes through which an infant's arms can protrude externally, leg holes through which an infant's legs can protrude externally, a set of shoulder straps, a waist belt, a waist buckle, and a bag portion (see the 1st to 4th reference figures). Each buckle is provided with a belt whose length can be adjusted. The bag portion has an opening (see the 4th reference figure) on the side of the protective cover, and it is possible to insert and hold a cold insulation material or the like into the interior of the bag portion through the opening, or to take out the inserted cold insulation material or the like from the interior. Further, the bag portion has a connection portion (see the 1st, 3rd, and 4th reference figures) connected between the protective cover and the head support. Through this connection portion, the bag portion can be folded back from the state of the 1st expanded view (the item is expanded, the periphery of the bag portion inside the protective cover is enlarged, and the bag portion is lifted toward the head support side) to the state of the 2nd expanded view (the item is expanded, the periphery of the bag portion inside the protective cover is enlarged, and the bag portion is lowered toward the protective cover side) while keeping a cold insulation material inside the bag portion. Here, the 1st expanded view, the 1st expanded perspective view, and the 2nd expanded perspective view are views showing the item in an expanded state, with the bag portion (in a state where a cold insulation material or the like can be enclosed inside) before being folded back, and the periphery of the bag portion inside the protective cover is enlarged and shown in perspective. The 2nd expanded view and the 3rd expanded perspective view are views showing the item in an expanded state and enlarged after the bag portion of the item has been folded back. The bag portion of this item can be used in a state where it abuts against a part of the head or the neck of a person such as an infant when being hugged, from the back (when facing backward) or around the chest (when facing forward).
