Abstract

As shown in the reference perspective view, reference diagram (1) showing the state of use, and reference diagram (2) showing the state of use, this article comprises a main body capable of lifting or lowering the grating, and a handle portion operable up and down to lift or lower the main body, a hook portion that can be engaged and disengaged with the grating and a stopper portion that can abut against the grating are provided at the front of the main body, a pair of left and right wheel members that serve as fulcrums for the up and down operation of the main body are provided at the rear of the main body, and the main body is made up of a pair of left and right support plates whose front and rear plates open downward in a bifurcated shape, and can be used, for example, in a rainwater drainage ditch. This grating removal device is used when cleaning up accumulated mud, fallen leaves, garbage, etc., or when improving drainage, by gripping the handle portion and engaging the hook portion at the front of the main body with the grating, and then using the handle portion to lift the main body using the wheel member as a fulcrum, the stopper portion abuts against the grating, thereby removing the grating from the opening step of the stormwater drainage ditch, and after completing work such as cleaning the stormwater drainage ditch, the main body is pulled down using the handle portion using the wheel member as a fulcrum, thereby installing and arranging the grating on the opening step of the stormwater drainage ditch.
