Belly support

Abstract

This product is a support pole attached to vertical H-shaped steel beams with horizontal webs and vertical flanges at construction work sites, etc., and is used, for example, to stretch a lifeline for hanging a safety belt lanyard over a temporary walkway. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part," this product is roughly composed of a support pole with a lifeline hook attached to its upper end, an upper claw metal fitting fixed to the bottom of the support pole, a lower claw metal fitting positioned further below the upper claw metal fitting, and an adjustment bolt that moves the lower claw metal fitting back and forth in the vertical direction; the adjustment bolt is operated to clamp the vertical flange of the vertical H-shaped steel beam between the upper claw metal fitting and the lower claw metal fitting.
