Skeletal correction bed

Abstract

The VBED (Japan Trademark No. 6615716) skeletal correction bed is a rectangular parallelepiped bed frame with a movable frame in the center. Two inner frames are hinged and symmetrically positioned on both sides of the frame, each supported by elastic members and link mechanisms, providing moderate resilience while controlling sinking toward the center. Each inner frame can be adjusted and locked, and tension springs are attached to prevent sinking due to body weight and tilting during use. The entire structure is separable into four separate units, allowing it to fit within the 200cm size and weigh less than 30kg each for domestic transport. The head section is equipped with a bar, allowing it to be used as exercise equipment. Parts of the frame can be removed and adjusted, and the modular design allows for multiple uses, making it versatile and adaptable for a wide range of applications, from bed use to training equipment.
