Abstract

This automated guided vehicle (AGV) is used to transport parts, products, and other items within facilities such as factories, warehouses, hotels, hospitals, libraries, and offices. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with a towing hook for towing a cart carrying the object. A rod-shaped platform is installed on the top front surface. A pair of drive wheels are installed on the bottom surface, with driven wheels located near the four corners. Sensors such as LiDAR are installed on the front side and on the rod-shaped platform for measuring the vehicle's position and detecting obstacles. When viewed from above, the vehicle's roughly rectangular shape is adorned with indicator lights on the sides of the truncated corners that indicate the vehicle's operating status. A cart carrying the object is connected to the towing hook, either directly or via a connecting jig. By towing the object, the vehicle can transport various items unmanned. This vehicle can travel using methods such as magnetic guidance and SLAM guidance. Operation can be stopped by pressing the emergency stop switch during transport or other operations.
