Abstract

The claimed article is a joint member that is attached to an object by clamping a protruding portion between upper and lower parts, thereby connecting the object to another object. As shown in Reference Figure 1, which illustrates the usage state, the upper and lower parts are fastened together using screws in holes formed by the upper and lower parts. In addition, by providing a rubber coating (shown in black in the illustration) on each of the upper and lower parts, it is possible to prevent damage to the clamped protruding portion. Reference Figure 2, which illustrates the usage state, illustrates the state in which the claimed article is attached to the rain molding (protruding portion) of a vehicle body, which is the object to be attached. Once attached in this way, the claimed article can be used to connect a tarp tent or the like to the vehicle body using a carabiner or the like, as shown in Reference Figure 3, which also illustrates the usage state.
