Marking gauge

Abstract

This article relates to a marking gauge used to mark the position where a void pipe or the like will be placed on a formwork or the like for pouring the concrete skeleton of a building. Explained using a reference diagram of how it is used, this article comprises a central marking groove for marking the center position of the void pipe, and a circular marking portion formed with multiple circumferential marking grooves for marking a circle indicating the outer diameter of the void pipe, the circular marking portion being assembled so as to rotate circumferentially relative to the central marking groove, and the tip of a writing implement can be inserted into the circumferential marking groove and drawn around the circumferential groove to mark a circle indicating the outer diameter of the void pipe.
