Abstract

As shown in the "reference perspective view," the article according to this design generates positive and / or negative ions through corona discharge and neutralizes a workpiece charged by the ions. It is formed by detachably mounting a plurality of discharge needle cartridges, each equipped with discharge needles, in a longitudinal row on the underside of a long main body. A high voltage is applied to the discharge needles through the main body to generate corona discharge, generating ions around the discharge needles. Compressed air is input through an air supply port located at one longitudinal end of the main body, and is ejected from each of the discharge needle cartridges, thereby efficiently transporting the generated ions to the workpiece. Furthermore, the main body portion located at the longitudinal center of the main body has a pair of entirely flat side surfaces that are parallel to each other, and a completely curved upper surface that is convex upward.
