Eyecup Attachment

Abstract

The present article is an eyecup attachment that can be attached to other articles or devices (e.g., but not limited to, smartphones, mobile devices, etc.). The present article is used by placing the curved portion of the eyecup of the present article around the user's eye and fitting the eye into the eyecup. This makes it possible to block out ambient light and set an appropriate distance between the eye and an image capture device (e.g., smartphone, camera, etc.) in order to clearly capture an image of the user's eye using the image capture device. The present article is attached to a smartphone, for example, via one or more attachment parts as shown in the reference bottom perspective view showing the usage state or the reference bottom view showing the usage state.
