Abstract

The claimed article is an automobile door handle assembly used to open and close automobile doors. The claimed article includes a door handle and a door latch release mechanism connected to the door handle. The door latch release mechanism includes a door handle opening / closing mechanism that pivotally supports the door handle and allows the door handle to be pushed in, and a switch mechanism that sends a door latch release signal when the door handle is pushed in. The claimed article is attached to the B-pillar between the front and rear doors, with the flat surface shown in the front view exposed to the outside, and the other components embedded inside the B-pillar. To open the door from outside the vehicle, the door opening / closing latch is released by pushing in the door handle with one's hand, and then the door is opened by inserting one's hand into the gap created between the door and the vehicle body by pushing the door handle.
