Abstract
This article is a camera fixing jig for fixing a camera that captures images of the surroundings of the pile driver to the upper outer periphery of the pile driver's outrigger (a cylindrical hydraulic cylinder). The camera fixing jig (hereinafter simply referred to as the jig) is composed of a main body with an opening on its top surface for inserting and removing an internal magnet, combined with a retaining cover that closes the opening. The rear side of the rectangular main body (the side facing the outer periphery of the outrigger) has a V-shaped notch in plan view. As shown in the "Reference Perspective View Showing an Example of a State of Use" and the "Reference Plan View Showing an Example of a State of Use," the jig is fixed by passing a band through a band-passing hole extending in the left-right direction inside the main body (see the "Reference Cross-Sectional View of Line AA Showing an Example of a State of Use"), positioning the jig on the upper outer periphery of the outrigger, and then tightening the band to fix the jig to the upper outer periphery of the outrigger. In this case, the back of the main body contacts the outer periphery of the outrigger at a V-shaped surface (two points in plan view), allowing one type of jig to accommodate outriggers of various diameters and facilitating their positioning. The back of the main body is provided with a groove for attaching a rubber plate (see "Perspective View from the Back"). When a band is fastened between the groove and the outer periphery of the outrigger via a rubber plate of a specified thickness, the contact area of the rubber plate increases, preventing misalignment of the jig. Meanwhile, the front of the main body is provided with a rectangular recess for fitting and attaching an iron plate (external magnet attraction plate) (see "Perspective View from the Front"). Inside the back of the main body, as shown in the "Reference Cross-Sectional View of Line BB Showing an Example of Use," a pair of left and right pocket holes are provided to accommodate a pair of left and right internal magnets (e.g., disc-shaped magnets) inserted through the opening. The pair of left and right internal magnets are indirectly attached to the outer periphery of the outrigger via the jig body and rubber plate, helping to secure the jig with the band and also indirectly attaching the iron plate. The retaining cover has a V-shape that follows the back of the body in a plan view, and has a downward protrusion on the underside that fits into the pocket hole when the opening is closed.As shown in the "Reference Perspective View Showing an Example of a State of Use" and the "Reference Plan View Showing an Example of a State of Use," the camera has an imaging unit with a lens and a plate-shaped bracket to which an external magnet (for example, a disk-shaped magnet) is fixed, and the imaging unit can be swiveled up and down relative to the bracket. The camera is fixed by attaching the external magnet to an iron plate (the front surface of the jig).
