Abstract

This device is an electrical meter that measures the power consumption, electricity charges, CO2 emissions, etc. of electrical appliances connected to an outlet and displays the measured values ​​on the display. The device has a main body, with a display unit such as an LCD panel on the front of the main body and a display switch button, reset button, and + button below the display. A retractable plug is provided on the back of the main body. An output outlet is provided on the side of the main body. As shown in Reference Figures 1-3, the electrical appliance to be used is connected to the output outlet of the device, and the plug of the device is removed and plugged into an outlet. Next, when the electrical appliance is turned on, the numbers displayed on the display provide reference information for energy conservation, etc. The display displays, for example, instantaneous and accumulated energy, hourly and total accumulated electricity charges, usage time, and CO2 emissions (see Reference Figures 4 and 5). The display switches each time the display switch button is pressed. Pressing and holding the display switch button changes to the default electricity algebra value setting screen, where the electricity algebra value can be set using the + button.
