Freestanding handrail base

Abstract

The article to which the present design relates (hereinafter referred to as "the article") is a base plate used in a freestanding handrail. As shown in "Reference Figure 1 Showing the State of Use" and "Reference Figure 2 Showing the State of Use," when a freestanding handrail using the article is installed on a staircase, the freestanding handrail using the article comprises the article installed on the tread of the staircase (for example, installed on the tread of the staircase so that the tapered portion of the base, which is the article, turns around and faces the inside of the staircase), a support post attached to the article, and a handrail supported by the support post.
