Abstract

The filling device is a device in which powdered material is fed into a cavity in the die disc of the rotor of a rotary tablet press, where the powdered material is compressed into tablets by the upper and lower punches of the tablet press. The tablet device is equipped with a gear for use. The gear of the tablet device is provided to drive at least one filling wheel (in this example, multiple filling wheels) rotatably arranged within the housing of the filling device.
