Bathroom support post mounting hardware

Abstract

This article is a mounting device for fixing a support column, which is installed between the ceiling and the bathtub in a bathroom, to the bathtub. The mounting device consists of a mounting device body, a pair of arms extending horizontally from the mounting device body, an outer clamp provided on the bottom surface of the mounting device body, an inner clamp provided on each arm, and an operating knob that rotates the two arms toward or toward each other by rotating them around a horizontal axis. The mounting device is fixed to the bathtub by clamping the bathtub from the inside and outside with both clamps. The outer clamp comprises a first base, a pair of second bases supported by the first base, and a pair of clamp bodies supported by each second base. The first base is supported so as to be able to swing around a first axis which is perpendicular to the mounting device body, each second base is supported so as to be able to swing around a second axis which is perpendicular to the first base, and each clamp body is supported so as to be able to swing around a third axis which is perpendicular to the second base. The inner clamps are supported so as to be able to swing around the vertical axis and horizontal axis relative to the arms.
