Medical mice

Abstract

The article relating to this design is a medical mouse designed for use during surgery on a drape containing highly viscous blood or contrast agents. To ensure smooth operation in such conditions, a sufficient gap is created between the drape and the mouse's base, minimizing friction. Specifically, four hemispherical protrusions are provided on the mouse's base. Lightweight design is desirable, and sterilization is required; therefore, it is a wired mouse without a built-in battery.
