Composition for lithium ion secondary battery anodes

Abstract

To provide a composition for lithium ion secondary battery anodes which presents a high cycle characteristic and further is also improved in productivity of electrodes.SOLUTION: A composition for a lithium ion secondary battery anodes contains a binder including a polymer and an anode active material including silicon. In the composition for lithium ion secondary battery anodes, the polymer has a structural unit derived from an ethylenic unsaturated monomer of which solubility with respect to 100 g of water at 20°C is 2 g or more. A ratio of the structural units in the polymer is 10 mass% or more and viscosity of a water dispersion, in which concentration of the polymer is 2 mass%, is 20 mPa s or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
